Elite hair education is committed to raising the individual skill of the hairdresser,each student is privately coached throughout the days content, the class is kept to a minimum to ensure maximum learning outcome, students receive a work book with an individual action plan to take back to the salon.

Essential Foundation Cutting 
 

Duration:      2 day workshop 9 am until 4:30pm  

Content:       Foundation Cutting is the building block of every successful Stylist. Kylie's unique method for teaching beginners will have students understanding how to cut hair without confusion, in a precise way. Her step by step hands on approach has the student producing clean partings/sections and combing techniques, correct choice of cutting lines and projection angles, producing the basic cuts required to take them through their career. Mannequins will be provided, all human hair with natural placement enabling the student to train on a simulated client head. The student will return to the salon with a training action plan and ready to cut basic haircuts and fringes.

Investment: $750 per student

Who should attend:  Any team Member who is not yet cutting or who is trying to cut but still is confused.

 

Essential Men's Cutting

Duration: 1 day workshop 9am until 4:30pm

Investment: $395 per student

Content: Customising a haircut for the individual male client can sometimes be hard work. The client often does not know what they want and the student finds it hard to communicate the direction to take.

In this workshop we show you the latest fashion trends for men, how to communicate better using the correct language, how to recommend retail and rebook your male clientele.Your Mannequin head will be provided and with Kylie's personal step by step guidance you will be taught current trend haircuts and a variety of personalising technique.

Who should attend:Any team member looking to start a male clientele and stylists looking to produce new updated haircuts

 

Elite Ladies Commercial Haircutting 

Duration:      1 day workshop 9am until 4:30pm

Investment: $395 per student

Content:       Kylie's unique teaching method of addressing the round and square areas of the head when working with short hair enables 

the stylist to easily choose the right haircut for the client and makes it easy for the client to do their hair at home.

This workshop covers the latest in short hair fashion, correct customising and personalising techniques to use for each haircut. Your own mannequin head with 

natural placement will be provided this will enable Kylie to help you understand the short haircuts andstyling techniques you will learn 
on the day. All stylists will leave feeling confident to take on short hair appointments.

 

Who should attend:  All stylists already working with clients but not yet doing short hair cuts, and any stylist looking for more confidence 
and polishing of their work.

 

 

Commercial Cutting Trends, Personal Techniques

Duration: 1 day workshop 9am until 4:30pm

 

Investment: $395 per student

Content:  Kylie works with you on how to produce the latest commercial cutting trends for your client and how to de-construct a haircut
from a photograph. We share with youon how to be on top of your game when your client asks "so what's in" stylists will produce the 
latest haircuts with the correct personalising technique to give the haircut that edgy look, all cuts will be done step by step on
a mannequin head. Stylists will leave feeling confident to suggest " what's in" to all client in their appointment book.
Who should attend:  All stylists currently working on the floor with their own clients

 

 

Essential Boot Camp Cutting

The objective of our cutting bootcamp:

1) To have your apprentices on the floor generating income as soon as possible

2) Ensure your apprentices have a thorough grounding and understanding of essential cutting techniques

3) Give apprentices the confidence and underpinning knowledge to understand and action your clients request.

We will conduct a training needs analysis on each student upon confirmation of their booking. Identifying each students training requirement allows us to personalize and customized learning outcomes at each bootcamp. At the boot camp each student will receive a workbook, mannequin heads and a training action plan to take back to the salon.

Duration: 2 day workshop 9 am until 4:30pm

Content: This 2 day workshop is specifically designed for students needing confidence in their own cutting ability. Each student will get a personalised training needs analysis from Kylie via Phone, Kylie will then tailor a 2 day cutting program specifically for the individuals needs. All teaching will be step by step on mannequin heads. 6 haircuts with personalising techniques will be taught. The last part of day two will see Kylie present her consultation procedure that is a proven formula to assist each student with recommendation of the correct haircut, colour, retail and rebooking with each client in a non pressured professional way.

Who should attend: All students who have completed Essential foundation cutting or students with some foundation cutting experience. Ideal for 2nd or 3rd year apprentices and 1st year out senior stylists not yet confident in cutting and needing to be pushed to the next level.

 Investment: $750 plus gst for payment 7 days prior to course and for payment plans ($250 deposit required) Students attending this workshop will be given reduced rates to the followup workshop (ie Men's and Ladies Short hair Cutting) .
